The Hollywood Christmas Parade is no longer produced by KTLA. We are, however, airing it as a syndicated program on Sunday, December 18th at 6-8pm.

The CW Network decides when new episodes of their shows will air. KTLA does not own or operate The CW Network and does not program the CW lineup.

CBS and Warner Bros. partnered to create a new network called The CW which they launched in September of 2006. The "C" is for CBS and the "W" is for Warner Bros. The CW provides programming across the country for the time periods of Monday-Friday at 3-5pm, Monday-Friday at 8-10pm, and Saturday at 7a-12n (CW4Kids).

Q: Will you be airing any Oakland Raiders games this season?

KTLA has renewed its contract with the Oakland Raiders to air three of the pre-season games for the 2012 season. The schedule has not been announced yet.

Q: When KTLA preempts CW shows for breaking news, sports or specials, do you reschedule them?

When KTLA preempts CW Network programming for sports, parades or breaking news, we reschedule the primetime shows within the same week - it's in our contract with the CW to do so. The only exception might be a huge national tragedy. Because it is breaking news, the news department does not know how long they will need to cover a story that may affect our local audience. KTLA is not available 24/7 in all areas of the United States. We cannot force cable companies or satellite providers outside our Designated Market Area (DMA) to carry our signal. Some of the areas outside our DMA which may not get our programming include such areas as Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, Barstow, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and San Diego.

Tribune Broadcasting and Sony launched Antenna TV, a classic television and general entertainment movie network, as a digital multicast on Tribune's broadcast stations beginning January 1, 2011. Tribune also distributes Antenna TV beyond the Tribune station group. KTLA began airing Antenna TV on our sub-channel 5.2 on January 1, 2011 at 10:00pm. KTLA does not own or operate Antenna TV and we do not create the programming lineup.

Q: How do I get tickets to a show taping?

KTLA does not produce the shows we broadcast so we do not have access to tickets. We also no longer own or manage the soundstages next door to us. KTLA does not allow the general public to attend our live Morning News broadcast.

Q: When do my favorite shows air on KTLA?

These are the regularly scheduled time periods for your favorite shows. Occasionally shows are pre-empted or moved for sports, specials or long movies, but that is on a one-time-only basis.

Q: How do I obtain a copy of a show I appeared in that was broadcast on KTLA?

KTLA does not have an archives department and we are unable to research old programs that may have aired on KTLA or been produced at the KTLA studios. Many shows were actually produced by other companies, who rented the soundstage from us at that time, and so they retain the copyrights to their shows.

Q: Can I get a DVD of the LA Marathon?

KTLA does not actually produce the marathon coverage, we just broadcast it. Therefore, KTLA does not hold the copyright to the program and cannot legally distribute it. Q: How can I purchase a copy of a show or movie I saw on KTLA?

KTLA does not own the shows or movies we air. We pay license fees to the syndicators of shows and movies for the right to broadcast their program or movie for a very specific period of time. Because we don't own these products, it is illegal for us to give or sell copies of shows and movies.
