Information for 2012
KTLA IS your Rose Parade station! KTLA continues to be dedicated to broadcasting the Rose Parade and our hosts this year are Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards. Remember because of the Tournament of Roses, "Never on a Sunday" rule, the parade will be on MONDAY, JANUARY 2nd. You can see LIVE pre-parade preparations with Backstage At The Parade at 6-7AM followed by the Rose Parade Countdown at 7-8AM. Then the LIVE Rose Parade happens from 8-10AM. We continue to be the only local station providing you live coverage with no commercial interruptions! If you miss the live parade, we will offer four encores which will contain commercials (that's how we pay for our production and broadcasting costs and allow the first airing to be commercial free!) at approximately 10A-12:30PM, 12:30-3PM, 3-5:30PM and then 7:30-10PM (each about 2.5hrs).
KTLA also streams the Rose Parade live on our website at www.ktla.com.
KTLA does not make DVDs available of its Rose Parade so if you want to keep a copy for your own enjoyment, you need to record it off air yourself. You have 5 opportunities to do so (see above schedule). You can continue to view the Rose Parade on our website. Go to www.ktla.com/RoseParade and all of the video for the 2012 parade is there!
