PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
On June 10 after 10:00 a.m., a panel consisting of KTLA staff will judge each entry. The panel, in its discretion, will select four (4) finalists based on the sole criterion of which wedding disasters are the worst, as described or shown in the video portion of the entries. The odds of being selected as a finalist depend on the number of entries received.
All four finalists will be required to present valid identification and to sign a Statement of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release by the deadline established by Sponsors in order to receive the prize. If a finalist does not fulfill these requirements, an alternate finalist will be selected.
Every day, beginning on Monday, June 15 and continuing through Thursday, June 18, one finalist contestant (or his or her spouse) will appear live on the KTLA Morning News. The four (4) finalists agree to appear on the KTLA Morning News between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. from Monday, June 15, 2009 through Friday, June 19, 2009. The finalist with the most votes will be declared the grand prize winner. In the event that two or more contestants have the same number of votes, a panel consisting of KTLA staff, in their discretion, will determine the grand prize winner. The judges' decision is final.
