Its ideal to use with a laptop and studies have shown that the SwiftPoint mouse design is 30-40% more efficient than a touchpad. What I really like about it is how small it is, you can use it anywhere you can use your laptop and a USB receiver charges the mouse so you do not need any wires. I also really like how quickly it charges, making it even better when on the go, a 30 second rapid charge gives you up to one hour of use and a full 90-minute charge lasts 2-4 weeks. It is magnetic so it sticks to the side of your laptop or desk top which is great if you are constantly on the move. It also comes with an adhesive magnetic parking strip that prevents your mouse from slipping off while you type which is incredibly convenient.
The Swiftpoint mouse claims that it will change the way you use your laptop forever. I don't know if it necessarily lives up to that quote but it is great product to buy if you prefer using a mouse rather than a touch pad. The one thing that I find problematic about the SwiftPoint mouse is how different it is than a common mouse or touchpad and sometimes it is hard to get used to change. The first few minutes I spent using it were pretty awkward which made me wary of the product but after awhile I quickly got the hang of it. It is definitely the best alternative to a mouse I've ever used. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate the SwiftPoint mouse a 4 ??.
