If your love life is more fizzle than sizzle, KTLA News has some expert advice to help you re-ignite the fires of passion once again -- and it begins in the grocery store.

Dual careers, kids, fatigue, and finances can take the va-va-va-voom out of the bedroom but, sex therapist Dr. Ava Cadell shows us the foods that can re-energize a limp libido.

Dr. Cadell says pumpkin pie can get blood flowing faster than anything else. Black licorice has a plant organ that stimulates sex glands. Celery contains androsterone -- a male hormone that attracts women. And chilis and figs are high in potassium, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C -- all nutrients to boost sex drive.

What else can you do to turn your love around?

Dr. Ava Says you can use a feather duster. You can use a rolling pin to massage your lover or you can use a flashlight! Imagine turning off all the lights and putting the flash light all over your body and kissing all those erogenous zones!

The doctor also recommends erotic games. Body creams and scented oils to help set a seductive scene are great for your love life.

But, most of all, don't underestimated the power of simply kissing and caressing. She says that giving a massage is one of the greatest gifts you can give your lover!! Dr. Ava says you have to work at maintaining your relationship by being adventurous on a regular basis. And she tells men to remember that romance goes a long way. A good love life, she says, begins between the ears before it goes anywhere else.
