Missouri Governor Matt Blunt has written to University City business owner Joe Edwards to petition for an addition to the St. Louis Walk of Fame.

Edwards, who owns popular establishments on the U City Loop, including The Pageant, Blueberry Hill and Pinup Bowl, is also the founder and oversees the St. Louis Walk of Fame and its annual inductees.

Governor Blunt and other area residents have asked that actor Mickey Carroll be added to the St. Louis Walk of Fame this fall.  Carroll lives in St. Louis and became successful as a vaudeville actor, but is best known for his role as a Munchkin in “The Wizard of Oz.”
