EL SEGUNDO -- Police in El Segundo say a man who has been exposing himself to girls in the beach city has struck for the 10th time.

The latest incident occurred Friday afternoon, according to El Segundo police.

The suspect hollered out to two girls walking in the area of Holly Avenue and Maryland Street and exposed himself, police said.

On Jan. 2, police say the man reached into his underwear as three girls walked along the 600 block of Eucalyptus Avenue in El Segundo.

Investigators say he was standing near his car parked in an alley with his shorts pulled down.

Similar incidents took place Sept. 6 and Aug. 21 in an alleyway near the 400 block of Lomita Street.

Police believe he is the same man who has struck at least nine times since November 2008.

Investigators say it's feared the predator may escalate his behavior and attempt to grab or accost one of his victims.

The man is described as a white man in his mid- to late-20s with a medium build, blond hair and a height of about 5 feet, 11 inches tall. In at least two incidents, he was wearing a baseball cap, police said.

His car is described as a four-door compact car, either light gray or white.

Anyone who might recognize the person outlined in the sketches was asked to call El Segundo police Detective Sgt. Scott Doukakis at (310) 524-2261 or Detective Vince Martinez at (310) 524-2263.
