ALTADENA (KTLA) -- Police have identified the body of a woman dumped on the 210 Freeway Friday afternoon, authorities revealed Sunday.
The west-bound side of the 210 Freeway at La Crescenta Avenue was shut down shortly after 5 p.m. Friday after witnesses reported seeing a man dump the body of a female on the off-ramp.
She has been identified as Adrine Arzumanyan, 33 of Glendale.
Arzumanyan was shot in the head shortly before she was pushed out of the passenger side of a black Honda, Sheriff's deputies said.
A suspect was apprehended a short time later on the south-bound 2 Freeway at Mountain Road.
Police believe he may have tried to shoot himself. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
He has not been identified.
This is the third body dumping since Monday. Sheriff's deputies do not believe the incidents are at all connected.
An investigation is still ongoing.
