Passenger Accidentally Ejects Self from Plane
Cape Town, South Africa -- A man joyriding with his South African Air Force friend cut the trip short when he accidentally pulled the eject lever.

The passenger was trying to brace himself as his pilot friend performed maneuvers in the Pilatus PC-7 Mk II last week.

The man mistakenly grabbed the eject lever and was instantly blasted 320-feet into the sky.

He then floated down to the ground with a parachute that opened automatically.

The Air Force quickly sent a helicopter to retrieve the passenger.

Civilians are not usually allowed in the turboprop aircraft. The Air Force is investigating the accident.
