BELLFLOWER -- Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lisa Monica Gonzalez, a suspect profiled on the television series "America's Most Wanted."

Gonzales was wanted for a Murder and Drug Trafficking Warrant out of the State of Oklahoma.

Deputies were conducting a routine check for Wants and Warrants of a parked vehicle in the 17000 block of Clark Avenue in Bellflower. The check of a license plate revealed that there was a Felony Warrant for Lisa Gonzales from the United States Marshall's Office in Oklahoma.

The deputies began searching the area for Gonzalez. At a nearby motel, they contacted the occupant of one of the rooms who had checked into the motel under a different name. After a short conversation, she admitted she was Lisa Gonzalez and she was tired of running. Gonzalez is currently being held at Lakewood Station -- with no bail -- pending extradition by the United States Marshals Office.

Gonzalez was profiled on the television series, "America's Most Wanted" on June 6, 2009. Authorities say she is a member of a local Compton street gang that orchestrated massive deals involving the purchase, transportation, and distribution of narcotics.

On June 21, 2003, Eliceo Chavira, a rival gang member, was murdered on the front porch of his Oklahoma City residence. Gonzalez and two others -- Raphael Gamboa and Orlando Gonzalez -- who are already in custody, are accused of this crime.

Gonzalez was wanted on two counts of conspiracy to commit murder. She allegedly contacted people in California to arrange the murder, then helped transport Gamboa and Orlando Gonzalez from the crime scene after they allegedly shot Chavira.

Gonzalez was also named in a 14-defendant indictment involving conspiracy with intention to distribute methamphetamine.
