NEW YORK ( WPIX) -- Actress Angelina Jolie is said to be doing "fine" after suffering an injury Friday while on the Long Island set of her new movie "Salt."
According to a spokesperson for Columbia Pictures, Jolie bumped her head and suffered a small cut between her eyes.
The actress was taken to a local hospital, where she was examined and released.
Her hospitalization was described as a "precautionary measure."
Jolie returned to the set and resumed filming, the spokesperson said.
Spy thriller "Salt" has been filming on Long Island for the past several weeks.
Jolie, who stars in the film, rented a home with current beau Brad Pitt on the North Shore for the duration of the production. Several "Brangelina" sightings have sent locals into a tizzy.
"Salt" is expected to be release sometime next year.
