LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- A Delta charter plane carrying the Los Angeles Angels baseball team made an emergency landing at
Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday night.
The Boeing 737 was flying from Kansas City to John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana.
It began experiencing hydraulic problems, and was diverted to LAX, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor.
Los Angeles Angels announcer Victor Rojas tweeted that the team was on the plane.
The flight touched down safely.
Emergency vehicles met the plane on the runway as a precaution.
No other details were immediately available.
