APPLE VALLEY, Calif. -- Animal control officers have removed dozens of cats from a home in Apple Valley.
Authorities are calling it the largest seizure of its kind in Apple Valley in more than a decade.
In all 67 cats were removed from the home in the 13000 block of Pauhaska Road
Many of the cats were dehydrated, malnourished or infected with feline respiratory diseases.
Officials said the woman who took in the cats was trying to rescue them, but the situation got out of hand.
