BEVERLY HILLS -- A second suspect accused in the deadly stabbing of a movie producer's son in Beverly Hills has pleaded not guilty to murder charges.

Scott Barker is charged along with his girlfriend, Chie Coggins Johnson, in the stabbing death of 21-year-old Katsutoshi Tony Takazato.

Coggins Johnson, the victim's ex-girlfriend, pleaded not guilty on Friday. Prosecutors say she and Barker stabbed Takazato to death after Coggins Johnson claimed he had physically abused her.

Each was being held on $3 million bail.

Another man was released after investigators determined he had nothing to do with the killing, prosecutors said.

Takazato was found stabbed to death around 6 a.m. last Tuesday at his father's multi-million dollar estate on Carla Ridge in the exclusive Trousdale Estates community.

When officers arrived, they found Takazato -- face down -- in front of the estate. The scene was described as "very bloody."

Takazato was the son of film producer Fuminori Hayashida, who is credited with executive producing several movies, including 1999's "Lured Innocence" starring Dennis Hopper and "No Strings Attached" in 1997.

A number of Hollywood celebrities reportedly live in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood, including Queen Latifah, Jennifer Aniston, Mischa Barton, Steve Martin and Angie Dickinson.
