LOS ANGELES -- A Metro Blue Line train slammed into a city bus injuring eight people south of downtown Los Angeles, according to authorities.
Six people aboard the MTA bus were hurt, but only four were transported to a hospital, City fire spokesman Eric Scott said.
None of the injuries are considered to be life threatening.
The train remained on the tracks, but the bus hopped a sidewalk and had a broken windshield.
The accident was reported Friday morning near the intersection of Broadway and Washington Boulevard.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
