LOS ANGELES -- U.S. Customs agents seized 316,068 glass bongs disguised as Christmas ornaments at the Los Angeles harbor Thursday.
The bongs were found in 860 boxes shipped from China to the Los Angeles/Long Beach port complex.
The shipping description said the items were glass figures and Christmas ornaments.
It's estimated the cargo is worth more than $2.6 million.
Customs spokeswoman Cristina Gamez says the importer remains under investigation and there have been no arrests.
