17 Cars Vandalized in BB Gun Attacks (Photo Courtesy Camarillo P.D..) |
CAMARILLO -- Seventeen cars have been vandalized in Camarillo in the past two weeks by someone firing a bb gun into the vehicles' windows.
All of the attacks took place during late night and early morning hours. Six of the incidents occurred overnight on December 19th. The other eleven incidents took place on December 25th, according to detectives with the Camarillo Police Department
Deputy Julie Novak says the suspects are likely teenagers who may have too much time on their hands due to the holiday break.
Damage is estimated at over $2,000. No one has been hurt in any of the attacks.
The shootings have taken place on the following streets: Aqua Verde Court
Ridgeview Str.
Fieldcrest Dr.
Buenos Tiempos Dr.
Los Pueblos Dr./Ladera Vista Dr.
Creekside Dr.
Rancho Calleguas Dr.
Paseo Montelena
Ventura County Crime Stoppers has offered a $1,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the attacks.
