SANTA ANA -- A third suspect has been arrested in the robbery and murder of a man who had just won $10,000 at a Southern California casino, officials said.

Michael William Ross, 26, was arrested Saturday morning in Mohave Arizona, said Santa Ana Police Department spokesperson Anthony Bertagna.

U.S. Marshals received a tip and worked together with the local sheriff's department to make the arrest.

Ross, along with 41-year-old Tad Carroll and 47-year-old Barbara Hamel were charged with murder, robbery and attempted robbery charges September 10 for their involvement with the robbery-motivated killing of Chi Ngoc Bui.

Carroll and Hamel were arrested earlier this month.

Prosecutors say on Sept. 3 Ross was in the Hawaiian Gardens Casino and saw Bui cash in after winning a jackpot of around $10,000 and leave, then called Carroll and Hamel.

Police say the pair caught up with Bui in Orange County, tried to rob him at knifepoint, then ran over his head as they fled in their car.

The suspects face life in prison if convicted. It was not clear if any had retained attorneys.
