VERSHIRE, Vt. -- A Vermont man found himself behind bars after police say he stabbed his son in the stomach with a corkscrew during a dispute over a clogged toilet.

53-year-old Nazeih Hammouri faces a first-degree assault charge in connection with the stabbing of his 19-year-old son Jeffrey Hammouri.

Nazeih Hammouri had been drinking at the time of this incident, according to Vermont State Police.

He is being held on $15,000 bail.

No information has been released on the victim's condition
