LOS ANGELES -- Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott is in intensive care at a Los Angeles-area hospital following a motorcycle accident -- his second this year.

McDermott, 43, crashed on Tuesday while dirt bike riding with friends.

McDermott suffered a punctured and collapsed lung and was expected to remain in intensive care for "a few more days," according to his publicist Meghan Prophet.

He's expected to make a full recovery, Prophet added.

Earlier this year, McDermott fractured his shoulder in a motorcycle accident.

After this latest incident, he's reportedly promised his wife he's finished riding bikes.

McDermott and Spelling star in the Oxygen reality show "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood."

The couple have a 3-year-old son Liam and a 2-year-old daughter Stella.
