CATHEDRAL CITY -- Two people have been killed in an apparent murder suicide at a luxury rental car agency in Cathedral City, near Palm Springs.
The shooting took place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Luxury Rent-A-Car, 68350 E. Palm Canyon Drive, according to Cathedral City police.
Employees at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, located right next door, said a man ran into the office and asked them to call 911, and said there had been a shooting.
Police say two men were killed in the shooting, including the gunman.
Another man was taken to a hospital but there was no immediate word on his injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been released but Haas says they apparently knew each other.
Authorities did not announced a motive for the killings.
Cathedral City is located five miles northeast of Palm Springs in Riverside county.
