2 Dogs Rescued On Malibu Cliff (KTLA / SKY 5) |
MALIBU, Calif. (KTLA) -- Two dogs were rescued from a cliff in Malibu just before noon on Wednesday.
In an effort to reach the stranded pups, firefighters climbed up a steep hillside off Pacific Coast Highway in the Big Rock Canyon area.
While the dogs appeared to be visibly scared, they started wagging their tails immediately when emergency crews arrived.
Each dog -- both believed to be pitbull-mixes -- was picked up and carried down the hill one at a time.
The owners -- a father and son -- were at the bottom to meet them and were met with wet, sloppy kisses from their best friends.
