EAGLE ROCK -- Police are looking for three suspects who carried out an armed home invasion robbery in Eagle Rock which led to the homeowner being injured.
The trio, including one man armed with a revolver, kicked down a back door to get into the home at 1245 W. Hill Drive about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Sgt. Patricia Milewski of the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Station.
The 77-year-old homeowner, who lives alone, suffered minor injuries when he fell down the stairs while trying to run away, Milewski said.
He was treated at a hospital.
The bandits fled with jewelry and a check for hundreds of thousands of dollars from a safe inside the home, she said.
Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to call detectives at the LAPD's Northeast Station at (213) 485-2563.
