Suspects in an El Sereno home invasion robbery may be wanted for other robberies.

EL SERENO -- The suspects who tied up a young mother in a violent home invasion robbery are still being sought by police Monday night.

According the LAPD investigators, two suspects forced their way into a home at 2:30 p.m., tied up the mother and stole cash and other household items.

A toddler in the home was not injured.

The woman was able to untie herself and call 9-1-1.

Police are not saying how the suspects got into the home but a large footprint could be seen on the front door.

A description of the suspects or their get-away car has not been released. There have been several similar home invasion robberies in the area.

Sources close to the investigation tell KTLA that the suspects that broke into the El Sereno home may have also committed the same crime in other close neighborhoods and communities.
