FONTANA -- Residents in the Inland Empire reported feeling some shaking Thursday morning after a magnitude-3.3 earthquake struck the area.

The quake, which hit at 5:14 a.m., was centered about 3 miles north of Fontana and four miles west of Rialto, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Dozens of residents in Fontana, Rialto, Rancho Cucamonga San Bernardino and surrounding cities reported feeling the temblor.

It's not known which fault seismologists believed the quake was linked to.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
