GARDEN GROVE --A suspect who was shot and killed by a Garden Grove police officer grabbed the officer's gun and pointed it at him, according to investigators.

35 year old Jaime Castellano Suarez, the passenger in a car pulled over Sunday for loud music, also punched the officer during a struggle, police said.

According to reports, the officers realized during the stop that Suarez had an outstanding felony warrant for driving under the influence.

Police said Suarez had punched the officer in the head and was able to grab his gun and point it at him.

According to the account, the officer regained control of the gun and shot Suarez in the chest.

Suarez, of Anaheim, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No officers were seriously hurt during the incident.

It is the third officer-involved shooting in Garden Grove this year.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office is investigating the shooting.
