ALHAMBRA (KTLA) -- A man working as a student aide at an Alhambra elementary school has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Johnny Lagunas, 20, is accused of molesting the young girl earlier this year while working at Garfield Elementary School at 119 W. Mclean St.
Lagunas, an El Monte resident, was arrested Friday after the girl told school staff, who then alerted police.
Lagunas is currently in custody on charges of suspicion of child molestation. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
