WEST HOLLYWOOD -- A celebrity photographer crashed his bicycle into actress Anne Hathaway's car in West Hollywood Wednesday. No one was seriously hurt.
Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says the unidentified cyclist ran into Hathaway's car as the vehicle was making a right turn from Santa Monica Boulevvard onto Westbourne Drive around 1:05 p.m.
The Oscar-nominated actress was a passenger in her black Audi which was being driven by her boyfriend Adam Shulman, officials say. The cyclist slammed into the driver's side of the car, according to Whitmore.
Investigators determined the rider was a paparazzo because he was carrying a camera with a long lens, Whitmore said.
Witnesses told deputies the photographer was traveling fast but there was enough time for him to avoid the crash.
The paparazzo was found to be at fault in the accident but no arrests were made.
