A Redlands Police officer spotted the suspect as he got into his car and attempted to pull him over. Officers chased the suspect onto the westbound Interstate 10. The California Highway Patrol took over the pursuit on Interstate 10 as Redlands Police continued to follow.
The suspect drove west out of Redlands to the 605 Freeway south then to the San Diego Freeway north.
