Bobcat spotted in backyard (Patti Negri) |
HOLLYWOOD HILLS (KTLA) -- A bobcat has been spotted sneaking around the neighborhood known as the Hollywood Dell.
Area resident Patti Negri told KTLA she saw the big animal right outside her home.
"Yeah, I was walking by my lower level back here, and there was this huge bobcat right by my back door," Negri said. He was drinking my dog's water."
Negri says coyotes and bobcats have become common in the neighborhood, and that they've been getting bolder.
Some coyotes attacked her dog Dora right in her backyard.
The bobcat simply slipped back into the wild.
Experts say close encounters like this are becoming more common as people build into hillside areas.
