HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) -- New details have emerged in the deadly shooting at a popular Hollywood restaurant Friday night.
Police say the shooting at the Pink Pepper Thai restaurant on La Brea Avenue near Hollywood Boulevard appears to have stemmed from an argument on the patio.
They say the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at a woman, who tried to grab the weapon.
During the struggle, she was shot once and later died.
The man was shot twice and was taken to a local hospital. He was taken into surgery Saturday and is expected to survive.
It is still unclear if the two people involved knew one another.
Their names have not been released.
