HUNTINGTON BEACH -- A man arrested in Sacramento may have molested children while he worked as a coach in Huntington Beach.

Sheriff's deputies in Sacramento arrested 60-year-old Richard "Butch" Guillen for molesting a 13-year-old boy at a Sacramento motel in February 2010.

Guillen is currently being held on child molestation charges at the Sacramento County Main Jail. His bail has been set at $500,000. Guillen was a school bus driver in Santa Rosa and drove the child to and from school. In February, detectives say, the victim was allowed to travel with Guillen to Sacramento and stay overnight to attend an auto show. During the overnight stay, Guillen provided alcohol to the victim and sexually molested him.

Detectives served a search warrant on Guillen's home and found many items of evidence, including thousands of photographs from various Santa Rosa-area youth sporting events.

Through the course of their investigation, detectives learned from 1980-1995 Guillen coached various youth baseball, skateboard, and surfing teams in the Huntington Beach in Orange County and Imperial Beach in San Diego County.

Detectives strongly believe there were other children victimized by Guillen during the years he lived in the Southern California area. Anyone who believes they were victimized by Richard "Butch" Guillen, or who has information regarding his inappropriate activities with children, is urged to contact Sacramento County Sheriff's Department Child Abuse Bureau detective Darin Pometta at (916) 874-5203 and reference Richard "Butch" Guillen or SSD report #10-49943.
