LOS ANGELES -- Actor Jeff Conway, who starred in 'Grease' and ' Celebrity Rehab,' is hospitalized after accidentally falling down a staircase at his Los Angeles home.
Conway, 59, broke his hip, his arm, fractured his neck and suffered a brain hemorrhage in the freak fall, according to his girlfriend, Vikki Lizzi.
He remains in an undisclosed hospital, and is expected to undergo surgery sometime Tuesday to repair the damage. The accident occurred on Monday.
Conaway gained fame in 1978 with a starring role in 'Grease' and in the same year began his 3-year run on the hit TV series, 'Taxi.'
He appeared on VH1's 'Celebrity Fit Club' in 2008 and later on 'Celebrity Rehab,' where he admitted to being addicted to cocaine, painkillers and alcohol.
