LONG BEACH -- Thanks to thousands of dedicated volunteers and Twitter fans of Jesse James, his lost dog Cinnabun is finally home.
A woman walked into West Coast Choppers in Long Beach Wednesday morning and returned the 9 month old pit bull. James' precious pooch wandered away from the bike shop on Anaheim Street in Long Beach on January 25.
James, who is married to actress Sandra Bullock, turned to Twitter to help find the lost dog. He posted a picture of "Cinny" with a description of her as well as the phone number to West Coast Choppers.
Some 17,000 fans responded to the post.
Today, James quickly created a blog page thanking everyone who helped search for her.
"The search is over! We got a call from a gal by the name of Rosaura in Los Angeles saying she had Cinny. Since we have had quite a few false alarms, we were cautiously optimistic. She said she'd bring Cinnabun to us, and everyone at the shop was really anxious for her to get here so we could see if it was, in fact, Cinny. The car pulls in, the door flings open, and out pops Cinnabun! It's been just over three weeks since we last saw her, and we were starting to wonder if we would ever get her back.. and there she was.
She's in good shapeÂ…maybe a few pounds thinner than when she left. But super happy to be home. We're taking her to the vet to get her all checked out and chipped, and GPS'd, and live-tracked by Google EarthÂ…the works. We don't want to lose this little gal again!!!
Thanks to everyone who sent us emails, calls, and well wishes over the past few weeks, and a BIG thanks to Rosaura in Los Angeles who found her and brought her back.West Coast thanks you all, and a special thanks from Mr.T who is happy to have his little buddy back. Let the barking, wrastlin', and bone chasing begin!"
Rosaura reportedly saw a flier in the Los Angeles area and brought the dog back to Long Beach. She collected a $5,000 reward.
