TWIN PEAKS-- Police are searching for a woman who broke into a home and stole over $40,000 worth of property, including jewels and furs.
The home robbery occurred in July at a vacation residence in the Shelter Cove area of Lake Arrowhead.
33 year old Shilyn Fellbaum of Costa Mesa was identified as the outstanding suspect after she tried to return a stolen $8,000 fur coat to an Orange County Neiman Marcus store, according to Sheriff-Coroner Rod Hoops of the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department
Felbaum was identified through store surveillance footage and a $75,000 warrant was issued for her arrest. She is already on probation in Orange County.
Deputies working with the Costa Mesa Police Department served a search warrant of Felbaum's home in the 2500 block of Orange Avenue Wednesday and discovered several items belonging to the Lake Arrowhead robbery victim, as well as several items belonging to burglary victims in Newport Beach, Hoops said.
Others in the residence were found to have extensive criminal histories for burglary, fraud, possession of stolen property, and drug related charges, according to Hoops.
Daniel Shipman, 36, of Costa Mesa, was arrested in the residence for possession of stolen property and another suspect was arrested on a parole violation.
Deputies are still searching for Felbaum, who may still be in Orange County. The Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Twin Peaks detectives at (909) 336-0601.
