WESTCHESTER -- At least one student was rushed to the hospital early Saturday, apparently after overdosing at an on-campus party at Loyola Marymount University.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to 1701 W. 80th Street -- the on-campus address for University Hall -- at 1:04 a.m. on a report of an overdose.
It was not immediately clear how many students were transported and what they overdosed on.
"One of our rescue units transported one patient," said Los Angeles fire spokesman Shawn Lenske. He said he could not provide any further information.
A video crew at the scene said paramedics treated several students.
Campus police declined to comment.
