NORWALK -- Sheriff's deputies have arrested a suspect who robbed a liquor store patron while holding a boy in one hand and revealing a pistol with the other.
The hold-up happened Oct. 28 at 4:40 p.m. outside a Norwalk liquor store in the 11000 block of Rosecrans Avenue. Sheriff's officials are releasing the information about the robbery this week because they're seeking the public's help in finding the suspect.
The man, identified as 20 year old Jeremy Gallegos, was arrested Thursday at 9:30 AM, in the 13900 block of Imperial Highway, La Mirada, said Detective John Moore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies say they identified the child Gallegos brought to the robberies as a 3 year old male who was uninjured.
Gallegos was booked at Norwalk Sheriff's Station for Robbery and Child Endangerment, and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
The sheriffs department continues to investigate the case.
Anyone with further information about the hold-up was asked to call sheriff's detectives at 562-863-8711.
