Man climbs KTLA tower (KTLA) |
HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) -- KTLA had its own drama on the studio lot Tuesday night after a man climbed some 30 feet up the Channel 5 tower and refused to come down.
The Los Angeles Police Department received reports around 8:15 p.m.
The LAPD and LA City Fire were on scene, trying to talk the man down.
Eventually, the man agreed to come down and climbed back to the ground by 9:20 p.m.
He was taken into custody by police and was set to undergo a mental evaluation.
Authorities believe this is the same man who was arrested Monday after he pitched a tent under the tower and used a bullhorn to yell at people passing by.
