HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) -- Police have arrested a man they say shot another man to death Sunday on the Hollywood Walk of Stars.

A man named Jorge Medina was arrested today and booked on murder charges, according to LAPD detectives. His bail was set at $2 million.

The shooting broke out about 2:45 a.m. in front of Stefano's Italian Restaurant in the 6700 block of Hollywood Boulevard near Las Palmas Avenue. Witnesses said two men got into a fight that ended when one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other four times in the chest in front of the restaurant.

The victim, Jesse Medina, 19, of Hollywoos, tried to run, but staggered and fell on the Walk of Stars, witnesses said. Medina's older brother witnessed the shooting and comforted the shooting victim while they waited for an ambulance to arrive.

Paramedics rushed Medina to a nearby hospital, where he died soon after arrival, officials said.
