NEW YORK -- O.J. Simpson's girlfriend of 13 years is opening up about their volatile relationship.

In several televised interviews Christie Prody, 34, says Simpson was physically and emotionally abusive and even threatened to shoot her if she ever left him.

Police were called four times to intervene in the couple's relationship, and Simpson once called 911 from Prody's apartment because he was concerned about her drug use.

"We have a problem here," Simpson said on the 911 recording. "I'm trying to get a girl to rehab. She's been doing drugs for two days with Pedro Guerrero who just got arrested for cocaine."

But Prody says it was Simpson who introduced her to drugs in the first place.

Prody says it was only when Simpson went to prison on an armed-robbery conviction last year, that she was able to find a way out of the destructive relationship.

Simpson's lawyer released a statement regarding Prody's claims.

"The only person to get taken out of the house and handcuffed for domestic violence was Christie Prody. The only person who has been to drug rehab is Christie Prody. The facts are just inconsistent with what Christie is saying," Yale Galanter said in a statement.

Prody also says she now believes Simpson killed his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

When asked if Simpson ever admitted his guilt, Prody responded, "In so many words, he did."

Simpson was acquitted of the murders, but was slapped with a $33.5 million judgment in a wrongful death civil suit.

Prody says that the football star "despised" Fred Goldman, the father of Ron, and tried to hide money from him.

After going to rehab, Prody says she is now sober and her life is wonderful.
