LAS VEGAS -- Police say a teenage boy asked his friend to kill his parents after an argument.
Thomas and Carla Chester were found dead in their mobile home Wednesday.
The coroner has not released a cause of death, but police say Thomas Chester was shot to death and Carla Chester was shot and stabbed.
According to police, the couple's son, Timothy Chester, had gotten into an argument with his parents. He left the home, but later returned with his friend, Victor Veliz.
Timothy Chester and Veliz went into a back room, where Chester allegedly gave Veliz a gun and asked him to kill his parents.
According to the arrest report, Veliz took the gun and shot both Thomas and Carla, and then stabbed Carla.
Veliz told police that during the shooting Chester fled in his parents' car, a gold Dodge Journey.
Both were later arrested.
They are charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, robbery and burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon.
According to police Timothy Chester said the plan was to not only kill his parents, but his sister and brother-in-law as well as Veliz's family.
