Bomb Scare In Woodland Hills (KTLA)

WOODLAND HILLS (KTLA) -- Evacuations have ended after police were called to a suspected bomb scare in Woodland Hills.

Authorities say someone threw what looked like a pipe bomb out of a second story apartment window on the 6100 block of Canoga Avenue near Erwin Street.

According to reports, the device exploded and ignited a small fire. No one was hurt.

As a precaution, four floors of the apartment building were evacuated.

A few hours later, police left the scene and deemed the area safe.
