ORANGE -- Reality T.V. star Jesse James won his custody battle with his porn star ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder. James and his wife, actress Sandra Bullock, get full custody of James' 5 year old daughter, Sunny.
Sunny's mother can now visit her daughter only during daytime hours, according to court papers. Lindemulder did, however, win the right to spend Christmas Eve with her daughter. She must return Sunny to James by noon on Christmas, Orange County Judge Thomas Schulte ruled.
It's an end to James' highly public custody battle.
James, the West Coast Choppers founder, was granted custody after Lindemulder was sentenced to six months in federal prison and another six months in a halfway house. She was booted out of the halfway house, however, and faces a probation violation hearing in Oregon,
Now out of jail, Lindemulder wanted custody of her girl again.
"What would give her the right to take away my daughter?" Lindemulder said. "You know, this is my daughter. I am the best mother I can be."
Lindemulder, who has appeared in more than 100 adult films, acknowledged making "horrific choices in the past," but said her life was back on track and that she deserved to keep custody of her daughter.
Bullock and James have called Lindemulder and her new husband, also a convicted felon, unfit.
