North Charleston, SC -- A one-month-old baby who was snatched from an idling car outside a post office in South Carolina has been found alive and well, according to authorities.
An Amber Alert was issued after Angel Miguel Perez was taken from his car seat just before 5 p.m. Monday.
The baby was found safe at a residence in Summerville around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to North Charleston Police.
The child has been reunited with his parents.
A 19-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with kidnapping in the case, officials said.
North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor said Angel's mother left the boy in her idling vehicle Monday as she went to drop off mail.
When she returned, the child was gone.
The suspected kidnapper's name has not been released.
Her connection to the child, if any, was not immediately known.
Police say a tip led them to the home where the child was found.
