LOS ANGELES ( KTLA) -- A 12-year-old boy reported missing in the Westlake District has been found.
A search had been launched for Keifer Jacob Farfan after he didn't show up to class at Liechty Middle School.
Police said the boy was with one of his parents the entire time.
The parents are divorced, and apparently there was a misunderstanding as to the boy's whereabouts.
His parents said he recently transferred to a new school, and he was having a hard time adjusting to the new environment.
