RICHMOND- A man opened fire during a church service in the San Francisco Bay area, wounding two teenagers, according to authorities.
At 12:30 p.m. Sunday, three men in hooded sweatshirts walked into a service attended by about 100 people in the New Gethsemane church, said Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French.
One of the men pulled out a gun and shot a 14 year old boy in the shoulder and a 19 year old man in the leg.
Both wounded victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
No others were injured.
The three suspects fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
According to French, investigators believe the gunmen were specifically targeting someone inside the church, though it is still unclear whether the two victims were the intended targets.
