SAN DIEGO -- A man has been arrested for allegedly plunging scissors into the chest of his wife and cutting his 7-year-old son in San Diego.
The 40-year-old man's wife called 911 just before 1 a.m. Monday to report she had just been stabbed, according to officer Dino Delimitros.
The man barricaded himself inside the home and eventually surrendered when authorities threatened to send in police dogs.
The woman and her son were hospitalized for their injuries. The woman suffered two puncture wounds and the boy's hand was sliced.
Both were expected to survive.
