SANTA CLARITA (KTLA) -- Residents of a Santa Clarita home were shocked to find a car halfway inside their home early Sunday morning.
A white sedan was driving in the rain near the intersection of Kenton Lane and Copper Hill when he lost control and drove into the two-story home.
"I woke up to the sound of my dogs barking like crazy," the homeowner said. "So I put on my jacket. I noticed there was a car into the side of my house."
None of the three people inside were injured.
Witnesses said the man admitted to being on his cell phone at the time of the accident.
Police arrested the man, who they believed to have been intoxicated.
Building and Safety inspectors are investigating the home to see if it is in stable condition.
