LONG BEACH -- Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed one person and wounded two others outside a liquor store in Long Beach.
The shooting in front of Joe's Liquor in the 3600 block of Santa Fe Avenue, near West Arlington Street, was reported at 11:33 p.m. Thursday, according to a sergeant with the Long Beach Police Department.
Frank Castro Jr., 19, was pronounced dead at the scene and two others, ages 18 and 40, were transported to a local hospital. They were treated and released.
The three men were walking in the area when another man approached them on foot and shot them, according to police.
No arrests have been made.
An investigation is now underway.
