HUNTINGTON PARK-- One of two teenagers who allegedly tried to rob a pharmacy in Huntington Park Friday night was fatally shot by an employee, and a woman was critically injured when she was hit by their getaway car.
At approximately 6:25 p.m. Friday, the teens, ages 14 and 19, allegedly tried to rob a pharmacy in the 2400 block of Florence Avenue.
The 19-year-old was shot by an employee of the pharmacy.
The suspects ran a female adult over with their car when fleeing the scene through an alley behind the business, officials said.
Both teens were arrested, but the 19-year-old died of his wounds at an area hospital.
The woman hit by the car was in critical condition, according to police.
